We stayed at unit 2106 in Waikoloa Colony Villas for almost 3 weeks in February 2022. The unit is very comfortable 2 bed, 2 bath with a large living/dining/kitchen area and small outdoor patio. Master bedroom has ensuite with 2 showers (one with a tub) and huge walk-in closet with a safe. Second bedroom is ground floor level with adjacent bathroom (shower and tub combo). Dining room seats four easily, and there is a breakfast bar with two stools. Kitchen is very well equipped - we have stayed at many self-catering units all over the world, and this is the best kitchen we have seen. Stove, fridge, freezer, microwave, sandwich grill, coffee grinder, coffee maker, kettle, and huge selection of pots and pans. Lots of plates, cups, glasses, cutlery, utensils, knives, storage containers, measuring cups, bowls, rolling pin, pizza and cake pans. Washer and dryer. Furniture is Polynesian themed throughout and is very comfortable. Big TV in living room and TVs also in bedrooms. In the garage is a selection of beach toys - boogie boards, snorkelling gear, folding chairs, beach tent and umbrellas. The unit is in a very quiet complex. Well maintained and landscaped. Two pools with hot tubs. Barbecues. Very quiet. Nearby (about a mile) are two shopping malls that serve a variety of vacation properties. Many beaches in easy driving distance. 2 nearby golf courses. About 30 minutes from airport, and 40 minutes from major stores (Safeway, WalMart). A great location for exploring the west and north coasts of the big island of Hawai'i.
